R.I.P. SCARdiff

I have just found out some absolutely gutting news. What has proven to be one of the absolute highlights of both 2013 and 2014 has sadly come to an end. The South Wales Horror Expo, Scardiff, has become a victim of its own success, and co-organiser Waynne Simmons has taken the incredibly hard decision to lay the expo to rest.

For many, as it is for me, I am sure this will be devastating news.

Scardiff 2014

Sunday saw the horror expo ‘Scardiff’ in Cardiff for the second year running.  Having changed venue to the Masonic Hall, the event proved to be more of an intimate affair than the previous year.

And, I have to say, the entire day was an absolute blast.  Plenty of stalls, traders, authors, publishers, panels, displays, exhibits and more.

Other than bantering away in the bar area for much of the day I managed to catch up with Tim Lebbon, Adam Nevill, Wayne Simmons, Dave Jeffery, Adrian Chambe...
