Sunday saw the horror expo ‘Scardiff’ in Cardiff for the second year running. Having changed venue to the Masonic Hall, the event proved to be more of an intimate affair than the previous year.
And, I have to say, the entire day was an absolute blast. Plenty of stalls, traders, authors, publishers, panels, displays, exhibits and more.
Other than bantering away in the bar area for much of the day I managed to catch up with Tim Lebbon, Adam Nevill, Wayne Simmons, Dave Jeffery, Adrian Chamberlin and Dan Henk, as well as the up-and-coming author Rich Hawkins, the guys at Hellbound Media and Pendragon Press’s own Christopher Teague.
A completely successful and highly enjoyable day spent in the company of so many fellow fans and contributors to the horror genre. And I’ve come away with a hefty pile of stuff to review!
