After reading (and thoroughly enjoying) Wayne Simmons’ recent novella ‘The Girl In The Basement’ (2014), I was inspired to check out some more of his work.  So I duly picked up his zombie apocalypse novel ‘Flu’ (2010).  After all – I’m somewhat partial to a good yarn involving our favourite undead friends.

It turned out to be an absolutely cracking read.  Definitely recommended – even if you’re getting a little tired of the zombie premise now.  Simmons has his own take on the genre.  It’s thoroughly entertaining blood, guts and undead mayhem, from start to the heart-pounding conclusion.
