As some of the visitors to DLS Reviews will have noticed, it’s not just books that are being reviewed.  There’s also a small corner of the site for audiobooks and graphic novels (as well as FEAR and Skeleton Crew magazines).

And I have to admit I do love a good audio presentation – particularly if it’s a full cast dramatisation that’s been done well.  For those that also enjoy such recordings, you’ll no doubt have come across the BBC’s ‘Classic Radio Sci-fi’ series.  Already uploaded on DLS Reviews is a review of the BBC’s audio dramatisation of ‘The Day Of The Triffids’ (2006).  Now accompanying that damn fine production is a full review for another of John Wyndham’s classic tales that’s been adapted for the radio and included in this excellent audiobook series – ‘The Midwich Cuckoos’ (2006)…

In other news, I've finally finished linking all of the reviews across the entire site to their respective listings on Amazon.co.uk.  One of those painfully monotonous jobs that needed to be done, but it’s one which will hopefully assist with covering the website hosting costs.  So if you read a review and decide that you’ll go ahead and purchase a copy of the book (or audiobook etc), then I’d really appreciate it if you follow the link to Amazon.co.uk that’s included on the page, so that a small percentage of the sale proceeds will end up coming my way.  Much obliged!
