There’s a hell of a lot of Zombie Apocalypse fiction out there.  More often than not the tales are just another rehash of the same old tired plot.  However, every now and again a zombie title comes out that completely breaks the mould.  British author Terry Grimwood’s novel ‘Deadside Revolution’ (2016) is one such novel.

Here we see religion, politics and class war jostling for position in a dystopian tale where the Dead rule over our once great cities and the Living are either farmed for their flesh or made slaves to the Dead.  It’s dark, it’s gritty and it’s packed with social commentary.  Bring on the revolution…
