Sometimes you’ll hear the basic premise of a story and you’ll think “goddamit I’ve got to read that”. Well, when J.R. Park mentioned Nat Robinson’s deep sea horror novella ‘Midway’ (2015) to me over a beer one evening, that’s exactly what I thought. The idea of suddenly finding yourself alone and stranded in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean – that’s some inherently scaryass shit there!
This is horror done so very, very well. I need to read more of Robinson’s work if this is the sort of calibre of horror to expect from him.
Absolutely love it. Buy this book now. You can thank me later.
