Mike Duke knows how to weave a damn gritty yarn or two.  He was a cop for some twelve years before he turned his hand to writing fiction.  Because of this he’s seen a lot of the vileness that lurks in the shadows of our streets.  He’s had firsthand experience of dealing with the scum.  Of going up against those that chose a criminal way of life.
