British author Daniel Marc Chant writes with such elegance…such a wonderfully British charm.  In many respects his writing style is somewhat akin to James Herbert’s.  His novella ‘Mr Robespierre’ (2015) showcases this perfectly.  The story may not be bubbling over with originality, in fact, the plot is a classic poltergeist style story that’s probably been done in one form or another numerous times.  Nevertheless it’s with Chant’s wordsmanship where the real strength in the story lies.  Quite simply, it’s the sort of tale that’s just an absolute pleasure to read.

Of course, DLS Reviews gives the novella a thorough dissection…
