The latest gore-drenched publication to come from the Splatterpunk Zine crew is the limited edition chapbook ‘Atrocious Madness’ (2015) that contains three previously published short stories by Jack Bantry and Nathan Robinson.

You know the score by now.  These publications are essential purchases for those that like their horror grim and guttural.  Stupendous cover art by Nick Gucker and Mike Dickinson too!

NEW REVIEW: William Holloway - The Immortal Body (2012)

It’s not often that a book will be awarded a full 10/10 on DLS Reviews.  When scoring a book, I hold it against its peers, weigh up the pros and cons, and then see if that matches up what my gut says.  It usually does.  And from around a third of the way through William Holloway’s ‘The Immortal Body’ (2012) - the first instalment in his Lovecraftian style cosmic horror trilogy – it became pretty clear that the book was going to be one of those few to garner the full ten skulls on DL...

NEW REVIEW: Michael Logan - World War Moo (2015)

Back in May of 2012 Scottish author Michael Logan released his manically over-the-top bovine-zombie apocalypse romp ‘Apocalypse Cow’ (2012).  It was probably one of the most entertaining and off-the-wall reads of the year.

Logan has now released the book’s sequel.  Entitled ‘World War Moo’ (2015) the novel’s another wacky and wonderfully humorous slab of apocalyptic entertainment awash with in-jokes and insane madness.
