NEW REVIEW: Wayne Simmons & Andre Duza - Voodoo Child (2015)

If like me you grew up on a diet of lowbrow 70s and 80s horror flicks, more-often-than-not involving a bunch of hapless teenagers being stalked by some psychotic lunatic with a grudge, then authors Wayne Simmons and Andre Duza have one hell of a treat in store for you.

Unashamedly penned as a homage to all those blood-drenched slasher films you grew up with, ‘Voodoo Child’ (2015) is more-or-less an 80s slasher movie that’s in paperback format rather than on VHS.

NEW REVIEW: Kit Power - God Bomb! (2015)

I have to admit, I’m somewhat of a fan of Kit Power’s work.  So far everything that the young author has published has been incredibly entertaining.  The guy can write so damn well.  His stories all have a strong voice, a distinct rhythm, and some of the best characterisation I’ve seen in years.
